How did you become involved in Young Living?
I was first introduced to Young Living by my parents; well, actually, my mum and I were both introduced to Young Living by my dad. Subtlety isn’t one of his strong points. When he gets out of the shower, he likes to take the big purple oil bag and tip its entire contents all over his head! One day those strange smells that came from my father’s head began to make a huge difference in my life. I used to get terrible period pain, so dad gave me clary sage and peppermint—it was fantastic! From that day forward, those smelly oils on dad’s head became my best friends. How does it feel to be the youngest Australian Gold in Young Living history?
Fantastic! What can I say; I’m very proud to represent young people in such an amazing company. Being Gold is fantastic, but I couldn’t have done it without the amazing products that Gary has given us, and the support of my family. What do you love about Young Living?
Hang on—ask me what I don’t like about Young Living that would be a shorter list! I love everything about Young Living! I love the products and the fact that we have a natural alternative to the harmful chemicals around us everyday, the people that you get to meet because of Young Living, and the fact that the oils can make such a dramatic impact in people’s lives. A few days ago, I was speaking to one of my team in Sydney and she was telling me about what a difference the oils have made in her mum’s life. That’s huge for some people.Do you have any advice for other young people wanting to succeed with Young Living?
Just two things:- Let the oils speak for themselves. The best thing about Young Living is that you don’t have to force people in this business. Once they try the oils, they will never look back.
- Never leave home without your oils! Be bold and don’t be embarrassed to say something to your friends. You may not know what impact you will have on their physical, emotional, or financial life.
Aleena’s Top Three Products
- Tangerine and spearmint essential oils: ladies, not only is it good to help with cellulite, but also try this: mix half a glass of fresh grapefruit juice with half a glass of water, one drop of tangerine oil, and one drop of spearmint oil.
- Thieves Waterless Hand Purifier and geranium essential oil: I use these everyday as my deodorant and absolutely love it. They smell great and do the job.
- Deep Relief Roll-On: I make sure I always have this with me. My dance teacher, who is now part of the Young Living family, would laugh whenever I brought out my oils. One day during my lesson, he was complaining, so I put some Deep Relief on him and we continued the lesson. The next week a few hours before my lesson, my dance teacher called asking me to bring my Deep Relief with me—he couldn’t stop talking about how much it had helped him. How awesome is that?
